A survey of transportation demand as a part of the social survey is the activity of collecting statistic for the displacement demand from regional economic activities, the research focused on how to design the index method system that reflects the transportation demand characteristics from a transport network, as well as access data analysis and data mining. Through the analysis of the transportation demand, the paper provides data support for regional transport channel configuration and construction of integrated transport system.During the survey and study of transportation demand, the paper combs and recalls the relevant theoretical research for the design theory and practice of reference, based on this, it defines and discusses the basic issue related to the transportation demand and designs the index system for the transportation demand survey, provides a good research platform for designing the transportation demand method. In survey methodology's design, focuses on the distribution of the transportation demand, it provides the method of combining the emphasis investigation and sampling survey to get date by using statistical reporting system as a platform for data collection methods, giving full consideration to the affected ways in the course of the operation, makes the method more focused and practical. In the stage of data processing and analysis, the paper putts forward three transport demand distribution plans and provides a theoretical basis for the correct choice of mode of transport. At the last of the paper, it selects investigation case(Luquan Country transportation demand in He bei) as the example to apply to verify the transportation demand's feasibility and practice.
