With the further deepening of electric power system reform, there is a impending demand for establishing some system in power supply company so that all the different links of the production can be completely inspected and diagnosed to insure all the different departments of the company work efficiently according to its development strategy. This system is -- the performance management system, by which the employees can know well about the object of their company and their own target so that they can consistently adjust to their own target to make it consist with the object of their company to improve the performance. At the same time, the performance management system provides a good basis for HR management of the company.This thesis deals with the study of the performance management system in Zhuanghe Power Supply Company. Firstly, on the basis of introducing the related performance management theory, it introduces and analyzes the current situation of the company to find out some problems occurring in the HR management. Then it provides a new performance management system by using Management by objectives (MBO), Key Performance Indicators(KPI) and 360-degree feedback.It's quite complicated a job to design and set up a performance management system. Corporate performance management originated in the U.S in the 70's of last century and was introduced to China in the 90's. However, it still in the early stages of development because of different foundation and cultural background of the companies. The author wishes this thesis play an active role in helping the performance management and HR management in Zhuanghe Power Supply Company and even in the whole power industry.
