The Shortage of arable land resources constraints socio-economic development of China, extensive changes in land use pattern is necessary in order to achieve the sustainable use of the land. Economical use of land-intensive is more and more concerned, it has also as a focus of scientific evaluation. Strengthen the intensive use of arable land has an important significance to use the limited arable land and increase the utilization efficiency of arable land. From the perspective of human-land relationship, this article brings forward the basic principles of the indicator system, the procedure on selecting the indicators, determining the weight of each indictor, and calculation of comprehensive evaluation, based on the theories of intensive land-use, such as land appraisal, law of diminishing returns on land-price, land use efficiency, and sustainable land-use. Intensive use of cultivated land is considered as the researched object, to conduct the methods of the theories on intensive use of cultivated land, thus a corresponding evaluation system of indicators was established. This paper emphasizes on the research of cultivated land in Nongsishi of Xinjiang, and establishes an evaluation system of indicators based on PSR, determining the weight of each indicator with AHP, then approaches and analyses the quantitative sequence of indicators. This paper also calculated the intensity level of cultivated land-use during the past ten years in the study area with factor analysis model, which indicates that the intensity level of cultivated land-use in Nongsishi has been slightly fluctuated, but the overall trend has been increasing over the years. According to the intensive analysis, existing problems of intensive cultivated land-use in Nongsishi can be found, to which suggestions and methods can be proposed to increase the intensity level of cultivated land use. Some of the main achievements of this thesis can be summarized as follows:(1)Intensive use of arable land of the level of evaluation methodsUnder the guidance of the theory intensive use of land, proposed the guiding ideology that establish the level of intensive use of arable land evaluation index system, on the basis of it indicated to establish the basic principles of the idea, the choice of indicators and methods, indicators to determine the method of weight comprehensive evaluation index, is calculated to lay behind the case study methodology.(2)Intensive use of arable land to build the evaluation index systemIn the PSR model, the indicators of response by calculating weight the largest value, the indicators of state weight the second value, the pressure indicator weight the smallest value. For all indicators in the total weight of the specific factors to sort of view, C11 (units power input)> C12 (unit of fertilizer input)> C8 (Stability Index)> C10 (unit of labor input)> C7 (irrigation index)> C6 (multiple crop index)> C9 (balance index of arable land)> C1 (per capita cultivated land area) = C2 (Food safety factor) = C3 (non-targets)> C5 (to have value)> C4 (both production workers). We should focus on the response indicators input.(3) The study area level of intensive use of arable land evaluation, land use intensity to be the ultimate outcome of the evaluation. Under the framework of PSR model of analysis used to determine the level of the indexweight, the use of principal component analysis method to calculate the study area over the past decade the level of land-intensive. To Calculations showed that the study area of arable land-intensive agricultural use of the four division level in 1998 -2007 years, 2006,2007 a two-year higher degree of intensive use of arable land ,1998,2002-2005 five years of intensive use of relatively weak, 1999,2000 , 2001, three years of intensive use of the least. Although the level of intensive use of its fluctuations, but the whole tendency showed increased year by year.(4) Through intensive analysis to explore the four divisions of agricultural land in intensive use of existing problems, made intensive use of arable land to increase the extent of the proposals and measures. Specifically from the following aspects: strengthening the agricultural land consolidation; the establishment and improvement of cultivated land protection system; rational planning of farmland; to optimize the structure of agricultural land to improve the overall efficiency of agricultural land use; the establishment of a farmland soil fertility maintenance and environmental protection systems; to increase scientific and technological inputs, improve the overall efficiency of cultivated land resources and land productivity; pay attention to water conservancy facilities, to enhance disaster prevention capabilities, maintain production stability.
