This paper focused on a perishable product that is characterized by the uncertain demand and two selling periods. The decision behaviors of agents on supply chain is modeled by using stochastic dynamic programming, according to effort-dependent demand setting and price-dependent demand with two-stages ordering setting. How to coordinate the supply chain and maximize its performance among agents on supply chain is discussed by using a revenue and effect sharing contract, combined contract with markdown contract and buy back contract, respectively. Concretely, our contributions are as following:(1) The literatures of perishable product supply chain and their limitations are reviewed, based on which the research ideas are proposed and then some definitions of specific terms are given.(2) A revenue and effort cost sharing contract model is designed to coordinate supply chain in the effort-dependent demand setting. The result shows that the revenue and effort sharing contract can ensure that the retailer's ordering and effort under decentralization decision-making are as well as that under centralization decision-making.(3) Different contract models are found for different conditions, according to price-dependent demand with two-stages ordering setting. The combined contract is used to coordinate the supply chain. Furthermore, a new coordination mechanism, coordinating profit-distribution plans (CPDP), is designed. It is proved that the combined contract can deal with the uncertain factors in the supply chain and maximize the profit of the whole supply chain. In addition, the CPDP can ensure both of the manufacturer and retailer benefit from the supply chain and achieve win-win situation. Meanwhile, a two-stage ordering can improve the flexibility of supply chain and anti-disruption ability.(4) The main conclusions are summarized and some suggestions are provided for management practice. Then, the research limitation is pointed out and prospect is discussed.
