As both old and new phenomena,organization is closely related to people's real life. And the exploration about organization theory hasn't been terminated.Especially since the industrial revolution,management scholars are not far away from the organization topic.Western organization theory is summarized by the continuous change and development of management practice and some from the management issues.But each organization theory has its socio-economic,political and cultural backgrounds. Only deeply study the theory,we may extract the views in it.So we can deepen our understand of the western organization theory in order to learn and use it better. This paper analyzes the differences between America and France organization theory in order to explore the cultural values and theoretical thoughts.With the efficiency for power,American organization theory diligently seeks a most easily understood,a most likely to be operated and a most universal organization mode.Immanuel Wallerstein tells us that universalism is an epistemology.Just because of this universalism epistemology owned by U.S.,U.S.prefers the efficiency during pursing the "American Dream".But France organization theory begins from analyzing concrete system,which bases on bounded rationality.It refuses to use a priori,external rational hypotheses and methodology individualism.It pursues "Medium-range theory",which notices in the cognitive function of culture.And the culture is specific culture.The object of this paper is to give some advice when importing other nation's management theories.We must change the fact that we only focus on U.S.,and learning from other nations is the best way to improve ourselves.At the same time, the imported theories must adapt to our society and our culture so that we can strengthen our innovative ideology of our country's management theory.The creative points in this paper are as follows:Firstly,Combining organization sociology and economic sociology to discuss the interactive relationship of the organization modesSecondly,Providing cultural thinking for the research on the organization theory Thirdly,Using the "point lead character" to avoid listing historical materialsLastly,This paper aims to tell that U.S.management is "non-universal Universalism", which is meaningful to China when it imports and learns management theories from other nations,and these theories should adapt to our culture.
