This paper is based on the Y company as the research object.Y company is a associated enterprises of state-owned electric power enterprises.Because of historical reasons,the compensation system has many problems and defects.By the application of compensation theory,the problems have been found,and the ideas of re-construction have been put forward.In this foundation,Y company's compensation system has been designed..The paper consist of four parts:The first chapter introduces the general principles of the compensation theory, including the meaning of compensation,classification,function,compensation management,compensation design process,etc.Chapter 2 introduces simply,including performance,organization's structure and employees' structure,then analyzing the compensation system in fairness, encouraging,economic,and competitive,and drawing the conclusion.In Chapter 3,the ideas and specific solutions of Y company' compensation system reconstruction have been given out.Through the analysis of post, re-evaluating the job,re-determining the salary-points,re-designing the performance bonus system,unifieing salary welfare standard,etc.Finally,the supporting measures ot compensation system and matters need attention in the design process are introduced.Chapter 4 is the conclusion,which emphasizing that the compensation system must be changed according to the situation of the company.
