The Analysis Of The Convergence On Urban Development Level In Central Jilin Urban Agglomeration

The development of urban agglomeration has become an important space strategy of China. Urban agglomeration is a aggregates, which is composed of different character, different type and different grade cities. The scientific evaluation and comparison of urban agglomeration's varying trend of internal urban development level has a great significance for the promotion of the harmonious development between cities and the healthy development of urban agglomeration. In view of this, this starts from the perspective of the convergence on urban development level, firstly define and analyze the urban development and related issues such as convergence, based on these studies and try to put forward the concept and the model of urban development convergence index, make a quantitative evaluation on the development among five central cities in central Jilin urban agglomeration since 1990. At the same time, with principal component analysis, cluster analysis and regression analysis and other related methods are combined to do some comparative studies. Firstly, the reliability of the model is verified, secondly, experiment research are carried out.This thesis is divided into the following four parts:Part I this article proposes the concept and theory of urban development and its convergence. First of all, generalize researching theoretical background and status; discuss the connotation of convergence of urban development, and then briefly analyze related concepts and theoretical basis, and finally introduce the convergence index of urban development.Part II this article constructs the evaluating index system of the convergence index of urban development. Discuss construction of evaluating index system of the convergence index of urban development and the design of the evaluation model, introduce urban development convergence index evaluation model.Part III this article applies empirical analysis to verify the reliability of the model. Firstly, the study profiles are briefly introduced, then the analysis onσconvergence and absoluteβconvergence,the dynamic changes of relative index of urban development, the dynamic changes of the convergence index of urban development level and comparative analysis between Changchun and other cities are discussed.Part IV this article discusses the influencing factors of the convergence on urban development level and suggestions.Conclusion part summarizes the main conclusion, limatations and prospects.
