Research On The Exterior Region Structure Of Goods Trade In China

Since the reform and opening up, foreign trade has developed rapidly in China. The total amount of import and export had increased from 20billion dollars in1978 to 2173 billion dollars in 2007.The trade area has proliferated almost all countries and regions. With the acceleration and deepening of opening up, China's foreign trade and economic is causing widespread concern in the community. The external region structure is an important aspect of safety of foreign trade. It should be treated from a strategic point of view. The exterior region structure comprises exterior region structure of goods trade and exterior region structure of service trade. In this article, we will put research on exterior region structure of the good trade of China since 2000.According to analyzing the ratio of trade volume between China's main partner and the total volume, the paper gets the current marketing distributing of country and region, and summarize the character of exterior region structure of goods trade. Finally, the writer gives some suggestions on the problem of the exterior region structure of goods trade, hoping these suggestions will have some distributions to the development of China's strategy of foreign trade and economy.In addition to the introduction, this paper is divided into three parts:The first part is literature review .According to analyzing the most important view in other articles about the external region structure at home and abroad, the paper shows its characters and innovations.The second part is characteristics analysis of the status quo of China's exterior regional structure of goods trade. The subjects were divided into continents and countries (regions). The paper analyzed the growth rate of China's external trade in goods of the status quo of regional structure through the continents and major trading partners, accounting for China's foreign trade market share and trade volume with China, and summed up China's external trade in goods characterized by regional structures through analysis of the status quo.The third part analyzed the reason of China's current external structure of goods trade. It pointed out that the economy complementary, multinational companies, geographic factors and foreign trade policy are the major factors having effect on China's foreign trade distribution market.The forth part is an analysis of issues that exist in China's external goods trade structure. It pointed out that the main problems are too high of the foreign trade market concentration, a serious trade imbalance, and to optimize the structure of export commodities to developed countries.The fifth part is the proposed countermeasures. It pointed out the corresponding solutions according to the problems that exist in China's regional structure of external goods trade.
