Tourism product diversifying,consumption individualizing,service serializing is the trend of modern tourism development.Looking at the world's tourism industry,it often goes through the sightseeing tourism product to theme sightseeing product then to non-sightseeing tourism product.Since China's reforming and opening,we have made big progress on tourism development.Some competitive tourism products have been formed in the world tourism market,especially the sightseeing tourism product. But,being of putting too much energy on sightseeing tourism development,our country's tourism products structure maintains a simple developing model.With the quick development of tourism,the consumers' requirements become more and more complex,the simple structure developing model cannot satisfy the growing varieties requirements.The development of special tourism products is just adapted to the diversified demands of the tourism market.Special tourism product,being a kind of non-sightseeing tourism product,as its unique experience,excitement,and challenge, is being accepted by more and more tourists.Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is the best place for developing special tourism,not only for having the unique special tourism resources,but also for the formation of domestic and foreign tourist market maturing.But,for some factors,such as idea,safety,law, policy,lacking of money and other reasons which influence the special tourism development of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,special tourism is still be the elementary phase.In my thesis,I try my best to get a more accurate definition about special tourism on the basis of former researches,as well as the classification,motivation and value. In the paper,I analyze the special tourism development present conditions in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,and point out the restraining factors for the special tourism development of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.According to the tourism resource endowment, tourist market requirements and present situation of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,I design some special tourism products with strong characteristics of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.In the end,the selling strategies for special tourism products are discussed.
