With the increasingly fierce market competition,the company's survival and development is increasingly dependent on efficient and high-quality human resources.In the course of catering business development,professionals have taken more and more predominant role and human resources has become a key factor in healthy development of catering enterprises.It is an urgent requirement to establish an incentive compensation system which make employees feeling happy to work and grow with enterprises and promote the sustainable development of catering enterprises. Compensation management is an important component of human resources management and the end-result of the company's strategy which will impose full impact. A set of scientific compensation management system is a key factor for the retention of staff and increase their enthusiasm and initiative,and thus maintain the organizational competitiveness.Only design a scientific and rational compensation system and achieve the maximum performance of pay can attract and retain qualified personnel resolve the current prevalence of "talent shortage" and reach the operational and strategic.goal.Based on the research of traditional and modern theories of compensation management,through learning domestic and international development trend and research status and investigating successful experience of compensation system of domestic and international catering enterprises,by using the combination of theoretical analysis and case studies,qualitative and quantitative analysis,the thesis brings forward the idea that modern catering enterprises should establish appropriate compensation system which matches the development of enterprise.In this essay,we take Bei Hai Hotel as the study object and make a comprehensive analysis of the existing compensation system and its shortage.And on this basis,we use scientific techniques and methods to Optimize the compensation system of Bei Hai Hotel and explore ways how to build a competitive and incentive compensation system in modern catering enterprises.At the same time,we also study the performance evaluation and incentive theories related to compensation system.
