The Comparation Study On MBO And TQM

With the economic and cultural's globalization, the objective management and total quality management have been spreading at an alarming rate , and become the the two main pillars of community.Objectives Management(MBO), was pointed out by Peter F. Drucker who was a represent of empiricism. In fact, MBO is an incentive method, it induces the staffes' motivation by setting targets. And then make them work hard in orde to make the whole goal become true. It is agoal-oriented organizations for the effective management of the whole set of theoretical system.Total Quality Management(TQM) is the advanced stage of Quality Management .It appeared in the United States in 1950s, but it wasn't used widely in practice at that time. Factly, it Played an important role in Japan's recovery in industrial economic. Deming made a public speaking on quality management in ABC company ,and then TQM was promoted quickly around the world, such as Dr. Dai Ming and Dr. Zhu Lan. The core idea is the standardization organization in the premise of the whole process, all-round and full participation in management.The appointments of MBO and TQM have been confirmed in practice during the past years.The purpose of this paper is making a comparation between the two managements about theoretical development history,theories and theories of the contents on the basis of previous studies, then pointing out the differences between them and making analysis.
