The international corporate control of Chinese railway was a complex international economic,political problem, that the historic evolvement of the construction,management of the railway took place in modern China, This dissertation tries to make an investigation on the development of the railways construction in modern China from the angle of the imperialist country, not country and society, comprehensively making use of the knowledge of some other disciplines, such as history, economics, etc, in order to reproduce the history of the international corporate control of Chinese railways in the first two decades of the 19th century.At first, making a survey on the reason of the international corporate control of Chinese railroad from the predicament of raise capital and management, and discussing the local attempt about the international corporate control of Chinese railway from the Knox Plan. The thesis importantly disserted that American and Japan would organize new consortium for the international corporate control of Chinese railways, thereby caused the fierce contests and positive responses of Chinese government and people, although the Washington Conference got the suggestions of the international corporate control, the dream that the imperialist controlled Chinese railways never ever becomes true as the current situation was difficult and dangerous. In the end, talking over the aftereffect of the international corporate control, that the case of Lincheng Incident happened 5th May 1923 and caused the diplomatic negotiation, the Britain brought forward the request of the safeguarding railways with the diplomatic Minister, In fact, this was the continuation of the international corporate control. The research of the international corporate control is great realistic significance for the development of railways now.To sum up the depiction above, the conclusion of the dissertation is that the international corporate control of Chinese railways was an inevitable problem in modern China, on the condition of the modern history, the problem was not realistic, the attempt that the problem was brought into effect was aborted in the end, the dream that made the invader invest,construct,control corporately and convenient for the usual development of Chinese railway never ever becomes true and wrong, too.
