Agriculture, farmers, rural issues have always been related to China's development is the key issue, in China's accession to the comprehensive construction of a well-off society today, "three-agriculture" problem is particularly prominent. With the deeper development of socialist new countryside construction, rural public goods supply play a vital role in rapid development of the rural society. How fair and efficient delivery of public goods for rural narrowing the gap between urban and rural development, raise the standard of living of the majority of farmers, the smooth realization of building a new socialist countryside and building a socialist harmonious society's strategic objectives is of major significance.This paper from the supply of public goods starting with the basic theory, on the basis of defining the concept of public goods, pointing out that the supply of public goods in rural areas of the special nature and the significance on the building of new socialist countryside. On this basis, this paper further explores the supply of public goods in rural areas the main problem is serious shortage of the total supply, the imbalance of supply structure and injustice of the supply, and from the supply mechanism, the decision-making system, the main supply and supervision mechanism, and other areas to find the source of the problem. Finally, the paper focuses on in the process of building a new socialist countryside, the basic countermeasures of effective supply of public goods in rural areas is the implementation of the articles of the country's balanced supply mechanism; improve the rural public goods supply decision-making mechanism; encourage all sectors of society to join in the supply of public goods in rural areas; establish a sound system and the relevant legal system.
