Research On The Integrated Land Carrying Capacity Of Zhongyuan Urban Agglomeration

Land resources is not only material of human survival and development, but also the necessary natural support factor for the ecological environment sustainable development, at the same time, it is the most basic protection of the economic development and the central position which other resources can not replaced in the relations of population, resources, environment and regional development .In the last few years, great changes have taken place in the land resources utilization of the increasing requirements for the land with the continuous increase of population as well as acceleration of industrialization and urbanization, the contradiction between population and land resources become more prominent. It is the urgent issue at present to make the rational planning of urban development and coordinate the contradiction of construction land expansion and arable land protection. The capacities of land resources have the critical effect on the integrated development of a country or a region, so many experts focus on the research of land capacity.The paper selects Zhongyuan urban agglomeration which is developing fast as the study subject. Based on the status of the development and utilization of land resources, this paper constructs a set of indicator system for comprehensive evaluates the land source capacity that can be adapted to Zhongyuan urban agglomeration. More over, by using AHP mathematical method, we can evaluate and analyses the land source capacity. In the end, the writer gives some suggestions which can help to raise the potential productivity and enhance the land source capacity.This article consists of eight parts:The first part is Introduction. This article mainly analyzes the background and significance of the research, introduces the ideas and methods of this article and put forward a theoretical basis for this article. The second part is literature review. The author gives us an introduction of the progress and the research status of the land carrying capacity both home and abroad. By analyzing the characteristics of the research status of the current study, this paper makes a prospect of the capacity of the land .Although there are some domestic and foreign research results of land carrying capacity about population, the land integrated carrying capacity has gradually become the focus of the study due to a comprehensive dynamic study.The third part is about the study of the theoretical basis for a comprehensive carrying capacity. In this paper, the author explains the basic theory of carrying capacity, the land carrying capacity as well as some relative theories on the scarcity of resources, sustainable development, and sustainable development on land. By analyzing the theoretical basis the comprehensive the theory of the land carrying capacity has been enriched and improved.The fourth part is to study the profile of the project area. This article begins its study from two aspects: the development conditions of Zhongyuan urban agglomeration and land-use conditions. The analysis of urban agglomeration and social and economic development conditions summed up the status quo and problems of land use, on the Central Plains comprehensive study of the land to lay a foundation on land carrying capacity.The fifth part is about the empirical research of Zhongyuan urban agglomeration of land carrying capacity. This paper constructs a set of indicator system for comprehensive evaluates the land source capacity. More over, by using AHP mathematical method, we can evaluate the land source capacity of the nine cities in 2007.The sixth part is about the analysis and evaluation of Zhongyuan urban agglomeration of land carrying capacity. By analyzing the results of the previous chapter, among the nine cities, Kaifeng, Luoyang, Pingdingshan three cities belongs to the low load area, Zhengzhou, Xinxiang, Jiaozuo, Xuchang, Luohe, Jiyuan 6 city belongs to the middle carrying areas. This part also gives us a clear analysis and evaluation of the reasons for each type area. The stuffy shows that integrated land carrying capacity is still in the low level and the support subsystem is generally in a relative low level, so the level of their land carrying capacity has a greater capable space.The seventh part gives a study of influencing factors of integrated land carrying capacity and ways to improve. By analyzing the integrated land carrying capacity of Zhongyuan urban agglomeration, this paper finds out the favorable and unfavorable factors, based on which this paper indicate the ways of enhancing the integrated land carrying capacity and corresponding measures.The eighth part summarizes the main conclusions and the work to be perfected.
