Competition among coutries of the world in international tourism market is becoming more and more vigorous with the development of international tourism.In order to become a great power in the tourism services,as a latecomer,China has to face to the competition comes from the whole world.So,it's of great meaning to study on the international competitiveness of our tourism trade.Michael Porter's theory of industrial competitiveness is the basis of the research.After presentation of the achievements and problems that exit in our tourism trade,the paper states that our competitiveness of international tourism trade is low using the indicators of international competitiveness evaluation system.Then it analyzes factors qualitively and quantitively that affect the international competitiveness of tourism trade in order to put forward constructive proposals and measures to enhance our tourism trade in international market.This paper chooses the export of our tourism as its research object while delicately using the statistics from 2000 to 2007.It analyzes the competitiveness of our international tourism trade index,according to the appraisal system containing the export market share index,TB,NTB and RCA index.The result indicates that,the first appraisal system demonstrated that competitiveness of our tourism service trade is in the moderate that is to say,our country still has certain difference from the traditional European and American developed.There are so many factors affectting the competitiveness of China's tourism trade.In qualitative analysis,the demonstration is done based on the "diamond" theory of industrial competitive capability of Michael Porter.The author systemically analyzed the promoting factors and the resources of international competitive capability of tour industry in qualitative analysis part.Whether tour industry has international competitive capability or not depends on the combination and dynamic process of six important factors.A country's unique "diamond framework" defines its resource of international competitive capability of tour industry and whether it is persistent or not.In quantitative analysis,using the EVIEWS analysis software,we can know the factors that affect the competitiveness of China's tourism trade in service by qualitative and quantitative analysis,we find that transportation and person with ability are the key points that affect the competitiveness of tourism trade. Finally,based on the conclusion made by the certain analysis and practical evaluation, the author provides some useful suggestions for promoting China's tourism services competitiveness according to the frame of the tourism services,territorial structure of the tourism services and so on.
