Abstract/Summary:
The theory of intra-industry trade has already begun since 1970's. However, nearly 40 years of systematic research, Intra-industry trade does not form unified definition. China is a developing country and a large trading nation. We carry out the study of intra-industry trade theory has important theoretical and practical significance.Papers on China's trade patterns within the forest products industry research to the competitive advantage theory and industry-based trade theory. First of all, the existing intra-industry trade theory reviewed to define the scope of the study. North-South intra-industry trade between countries to improve the model, competitive advantage based on the industry trade model. Secondly, through the analysis of China's major forest products competitiveness analysis of several indicators (international market share,"demonstrate"comparative advantage index and trade competitiveness index), China's major forest products reached export competitiveness of the situation at this stage, China's main exports of forest products a competitive advantage based on labor-intensive export-oriented products. Then the Chinese industry and trade of forest products for data analysis, respectively, analysis of china's forest products industry and the general situation of trade, and level of classification and vertical intra-industry trade.
