Study Of The Theory And Practice Of Technology Business Incubators

It is well known that 21 century is the rapid development of high-tech era of the knowledge economy. By means of providing entrepreneurs with a good platform and developing environment, Technology Business Incubators(TBIs) have achieved the success of the innovation project of science and technology, enhanced the enterprises' vitality, and promoted the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements.Guided by the science and technology theory of Marxist's, investigating the envelopments of TBIs at home and abroad, this thesis theoretically explores the TBIs' basic theories - System Theory, Enterprise Life-cycle Theory, Professional Division Theory and Regional Specialization Innovation Theory. Especially, by use of the System Theory this thesis not only analyzes the TBIs' content, characteristics, elements, structure, basic functions and environmental factors, but also the new TBIs model and the traditional incubator model, as well as their running mechanism. On this basis, seeking to apply thetheory to analyze and solve practical problems- taking the Suzhou TBI as a case inpractice, the status of its development, problems and countermeasures are discussed.Focusing on the unity of history and reality, highlighting the combination of theoretical explore and empirical research ,this study mainly uses the historical analysis,theoretical analysis,systems analysis,summarized and integrated,case studies and other research methods and so on, striving to achieve the integration of academic, reality and forward-looking.
