Abstract/Summary:
Based on the soft-input theory, this paper studies the evolution of the income level of peasants of the province of Gansu and Zhejiang during the 30 years of reforming and opening-up. This paper also studies the influencing factors of netincome of peasants--factors of soft-input especially the evolution of system oforganization, policy and scientific and technological progression. Further, this paper studies the difference in soft-input influencing the net income of peasants of the province of Gansu and Zhejiang. Based on the analysis of difference in soft-input of two provinces, this paper studies the deep-seated causes and patterns of the coming into being of the difference of the two province's net income of peasants. The results show that, the wage income is the main reason binging about the differences of the net income of peasants. Secondary and tertiary industries in the family business are the second most important reason. The difference of metastasis income and property income is not very important, but increased rapidly. Based on the farm income, the gap begins to shrink. The farm income begins to become the factors of shrinking the gap. Based on the empirical study, the level of education development and urbanization are the main factors influencing the net income of peasants of the province of Gansu. On this basis, this paper made some advices: developing the rural education,developing labor economy,reforming the household registration system and developing the special agricultural.
