Research On The Current Situation And Prospect Of Industrial Clustering Development Of Small And Medium-sized Export Enterprises In China

In recent years, small and medium-sized export enterprises have become the backbone elements in the trade growth in China, and are the fresh activists of national economy, thus their development is more and more related to the economic development, social stability and harmony. Industrial clustering development is not only an important economic phenomenon in the current world economic development, but also the only road for the small and medium-sized enterprises in China. It is of practical and profound significance to the economic development of enterprises, regions as well as the country. However, there still exist many problems in the current stage of the industrial clustering development of small and medium-sized enterprises in China, the most striking one of which is that those enterprises are"in a gathering but unco-operating state"and that the industry is large but not strong, lacking the support system and strategic deployment of overall coordinated development. This is extremely apparent under the current global economic crisis.Currently, there have not been quite many researches on the small and medium-sized enterprises industry clustering development in China, which cannot meet the practical needs. In the viewpoint of economics and with small and medium-sized export enterprises as the research objects, this thesis is aimed at promoting the sustainable development of industrial cluster of small and medium-sized export enterprises in China and strengthening the cluster ability to cope with risks and the cluster competitiveness. First, the thesis defines the small and medium-sized export enterprises in China, gives a brief introduction of the development process of the industrial cluster and puts forward the research problems; second, it gives a comprehensive description of the domestic and foreign theories on the industrial cluster. It also analyzes the current situation of the industrial cluster of these enterprises, such as the development mode, stage and features as well as their impacts on the competitiveness. Third, based on the previous analysis, the thesis puts forward the problems faced in terms of the industrial cluster of small and medium-sized export enterprises in China and conducts the analysis as necessary. By referring to Italy's experience of successful clustering development of typical export industry, it thesis proposes a series of policy suggestions on the clustering development of the small and medium-sized export enterprises in China. At last, it comes to a basic conclusion based on the previous research and gives an outlook for the prospect of the clustering development of these enterprises.
