Institution Construction And Enterprise Development

By taking the 23-year history of Mohe Mine as the major clue and its institution construction as the focus,this dissertation,based on Institution Analysis Theory from Economics,first discusses the special effects of institution construction in the process of the company's development,and then,makes attempts to further analyze and sum up the factors restricting its institution construction by analyzing obstacles Mohe Gold Mine encountered.Based on the analysis mentioned above,this dissertation further discusses the inner links between institution,humanity and economic development.This dissertation consists of six chapters,with their respective contents as follows:The first chapter is the Introduction.In this chapter,a historical review of the former academic studies on the same subject is made,the study clue,study frame, theories basis,study methods and data collection of this essay are introduced and the definitions of related concepts are given.The second chapter reviews the thoughts and practices of enterprises institution construction before the Sino-Japanese War in 1895.This chapter gives a general review of the explorations and practices people had made in the modes and principles of establishing modern enterprises as well as in the capital accumulation and management in the running process of modern enterprises,as an effort to depict the background of the institution construction of Mohe Gold Mine.The third chapter reviews the institution construction at its earlier stage (1888-1896).This chapter introduces the institution construction and business operation at its earlier stage,and then analyzes what an important role institution construction had played in the process.The forth chapter reviews the process of its drop of institution construction and, as a result,the fall of the company(1986-1911).This chapter introduces Mohe Mine Case and the development of Mohe Gold Mine in the background of the foreign invasion of 1900,as well as its drop of institution construction during that time.And then the reason of its fall is analyzed as well.The fifth chapter analyzes the factors restricting its institution construction.The analysis is carried out in the following three aspects:the environment restriction,the insufficiency of the institution supply,the gap in the capabilities of the entrepreneurs, based on which,it further analyzes the functions of institution construction in the development of enterprises.The sixth chapter is the conclusions.It is concluded that institution construction plays an important role in the development of Mohe Gold Mine and the relationship between institution,humanity and economic development differs in different cases.
