Due to the 30's reform and opening, the Chinese economy has been developed greatly, and the living conditions of Chinese also improved rapidly. But in the meantime, the income disparity of urban-rural,different region and different industry is getting serious.Especially the income disparity in urban-rural has been an important factor which can influence the social stability and economy development of China. In response to this situation, this paper argues the factors which lead to the changes of urban-rural income gap, from the theoretical and empirical point of view. We mainly concern on the different allocation of production factors in urban-rural through the perspective of market economy. From 1978,the reform direction of China is to change the economic system from planning to marketing, which is under the character of competition. At the same time, in the area of allocation,we change the pattern of distributing according to work to the mixing of work and the production factors' contribution. We emphasize the importance of production factors, such as labor force, capital, land, technology and entrepreneurship during the production. So they should take part in the wealth distribution. In this situation, the quantity and quality of production factors can determine the residents' income. So in this paper, from the three basic production factors---labor force, capital and land,we research the unequal allocation of them in urban and rural, and how they influence residents' income. We figure out that in China, because the reform does not go far enough, the dual economy exists in a long time.It makes the market of labor force, capital and land obviously different in urban and rural. Also the obstacles of production factors' flowing and discrimination of policy in different residents makes the income difference in urban and rural. At last, according to the role of government in reallocating we give several suggestions to reduce the income gap between urban-rural in China. |
