This article takes the GIS technology as a platform, and analyzes to the investment climate synthesis appraisal of economic development zones. The development zones are the areas that carry on special economic policy and the special system economic region. The appraisal on its investment climate is a brand-new topic, needs to think over the unique, economical, and industrial gathering, district, and other characters of development zones. But GIS is the tool which uses the soft, hardware and the spatial region characters correlation system utilization to carry on the analysis a technology. On the other hand, the two ways is helpful to the development zone this kind of special economic region thorough understanding, on the other hand, it is the new development on GIS technology in the appraisal theory.The article has first introduced the economic development zone, the investment climate related concept, then listed recently for 40 years investment environment appraisal theory, which used to discuss the economic development zone the investment climate. It has analyzed six big principles of investment climate's appraisal, and the feasibility of the application with the support of GIS. After that the author compares the domestic and foreign many appraisal theories as to the appraisal factor different application, has constructed the indicators system development zones' investment climate, has founded the indicators quantified method for the development zones' investment climate appraisal, and determined the judge matrix using the Fuzzy theory, using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) based on the appraisal indicators system of the development zones' investment climate to analyze various indicators weight. Then we propose the corresponding fuzzy synthetic appraisal model.Then this article introduced the GIS technology, the principle and the method. It simply introduces the GIS steps, and answers how to import the geographical position data and the space non-position data, later constructs the GIS space database, as well how to inquiry and manage those data with the help of spatial database. Then it can prepare for the next spatial analysis. While this article also introduces the spatial analysis model included in space statistical model, spatial overlay analysis model and buffer model and so on.After the essential theoretically preparation, this article entered the important part-the fourth chapter. In this chapter, starts take the Nanchang city development zone as an example, then import the Nanchang city various development zones' data which have dealt using the technical method, the determines geography position for the two nation's economics development zones in Nanchang city by the way of GIS technology, then analyze the data through the related software. Above all, se can establish the spatial database, and has established the corresponding spatial synthetic appraisal model. Through MapBasic, we have established a screen-face of our synthetic appraisal which helps interact. There are positive significance for the future usage of the synthetic appraisal of other development zones' investment climate.Finally, as for two big technical-GIS technology and the synthesis appraisal of development zones' investment climate technology, has forecasted the prospect for the future, and put forward the related suggestion.
