The 80's knowledge staff is an emerging employment community. They both have the general character which any young people all have, and have their own characteristic which comes from the society. They have occupied the important position in the labor market. The 80'are different from other generations because of their social environment, the life experience, the mode of thinking, the personality and so on. The management to this special community has already been concerned by business circles.The motivation to staff includes material motivation and non-material motivation. The advantage of non-material motivation has been concerned by more and more enterprises. But at present the research of non-material motivation to the 80'is not very mature in the academic circles, the correlation research are not good enough , and the system the theory frame has not formed. In view of these questions, this article compared 80'staffs to the other staffs, in order to find the 80'personality, individuality characteristic and their preference to motivation. According to the fundamental research, and the methods of comparative analysis and the generalized analysis, this article attempts to from the non-material motivation mode of 80's knowledge staff, which is a set to suit the enterprise.This article composes four parts. The first part includes the concept of the 80's knowledge staff and the characteristic analysis of this community; The second part analyzes the theoretical basis of the non-material motivation; The third part analyzed the inferior position of tradition motivation mode and the challenge proposed by the 80'; The fourth part introduced from three different angles the non-material motivation manages to the 80's knowledge staff. Finally, this article summarizes the action mechanism model and the practical model of the non-material motivation to the 80's knowledge staffs.
