| Organic Tea is one of the most nutrient and saftiest foods and has a huge market prospects. There is a long history of tea production in Anxi. It is known as "tea capital of southern Fujian". This dissertation analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of organic tea production on the basis of investigation and with the method of SWOT, and put forward the countermeasures of developing organic tea in Anxi. The purpose of the study is to provide a scientific reference to promote regional tea industry.The main conclusions were as follows:(1) The development status-quo of organic tea in Anxi is good. Until 2007, 12 enterprises had been certified with organic tea, the whole area was 539 hm2 and the annual output was 937.8 tons; Organic tea mainly grew in the inland of Anxi where natural conditions were superior; the cost of producing organic tea was higher, but the output value was larger, so the effectiveness-cost ratio was15.08 that was 2.8 times than ordinary tea; from 2000 to 2007, the area, output, value of organic tea grew rapidly, increasing from 680 hm2, 900t, 80 million Yuan to 1420 hm2, 2200 t, 800 million Yuan, and the growth rate of output value was much higher than those of area and output; Organic tea sales in domestic increased from 10 tons in 2000 to 884 tons in 2007, and the proportion of the total tea sales increased from 1.11 % in 2000 to 44.20 % in 2007, showed an exponential growth rate.(2) Organic tea was basically achieved the standardizing production and industrializing processing. It was cultivated and processed by the standards of organic tea production and processing; the main production and operation mode was: science and technology enterprises+ base + farmers, union + farmers, acquisition station + farmers.(3) Through "SWOT" analysis , the author indicated that: The development strengths (S) of the organic tea in Anxi included: natural conditions, historical conditions, germplasm resources, human resources, science and technology resources, culture, chinese groups and the support of government. The weaknesses (W) included: small businessscale, non-brand, shortages of industrial development potential, lagging of trade mode, infirmity of service system, immaturity of the key technology of organic tea production. The opportunities (O) included: green consumption became fashionable, tea demand would increase; institutional changes would lead to more opportunities after accessing to the WTO. The threats (T) included: "green" barriers, competition of other tea products, impact of new drink, competition of multinational enterprises.(4) According to the development status-quo of organic tea in Anxi ,the author put forward several countermeasures and measures as following: Further intensify the publicity to raise the awareness for organic tea; Scientifically make plan according to local conditions; Increase investment in science and technology of organic tea,and rely on the power of technology to solve the key issues of organic tea production; Establish organic tea production standards, found institute of qulity management, constitute the rules of qulity management and pefect quality controlsystem of the organic tea ; Promote the tea industrialization process, pay attention to brand building and management; Enhance the production of new products, try to richen the kinds of products and enhance the vitality of enterprises; Focus on the construction of the Anxi tea wholesale market ; Fully make use of WTO rules and the advantages of chinese groups, strengthen foreign trade and economic cooperation and exchanges; Vigorously disseminate knowledge of healthy function of tea and culture propaganda, achieve integrated operation in tea products and tea culture. |
