Since the end of 20th, Chinese scholars began to focus a lot on the phenomena of rural- urban migration. Reasons for attaching so much on this problem is that since the reform the process of urbanization, industrialization and modernization had became irreversible. And the pattern of the dual urban-rural is bound to be replaced by the integrated development of urban and rural. According to development economics points of view, the rural-urban migration will undoubtedly play an extremely important and even crucial role in this process. One of the most prominent problems in the study of China's rural-urban migration is the lack of theoretical foundation. The assumption of unlimited supply for rural labor force in Lewis'model and Todaro's point that rural labor force's transferring to urban is caused of the gap between except urban income and rural income, which was suspected by domestic scholars. So in the actual research, they have to improve traditional models even forgive them. And lots of the conclusion of researches seemed lack of evidence. Particularly, many researches focus on the discussion of superficial phenomenon but neglecting deeper analysis of the driving force of rural-urban migration.Lucas put forward his rural-urban migration model in 2004, which explains the rural-urban migration as the impact of human capital accumulation. The rural labor force showed marked characteristic of human capital accumulation in the process of migration in our research. Further data and model analysis also found that the real driving force is human capital in the migration. Furthermore, it divided the behavior of rural-urban migration into two stage that before and after transferring to the city. By study the different effect of human capital in different transferring stage, we get the conclusion as follow:First, higher average level of human capital to be owned, faster and larger-scale of rural labor force will transfer to the city .Second, if the human capital which is owned to the rural labor force who have transferred to the city get more impacts from external factors, the amount of rural labor force who are able to stay in the city will be lager. And the process of giving proof to the views above is just the innovation of this research.
