The Empirical Study Of China's Regional Economic Growth And FDI

Foreign Direct Investment(FDI for short),that is a kind of investment through which an economy enterprise or a natural person controls another economy enterprise.After three decades of reform and opening up,FDI has become the main form of utilizing foreign capital in China.The rapid growth of FDI has played a crucial role in Chinese economic development.How to evaluate the relationship between FDI and the national economy scientifically becomes an important research topics in national economics.In china,more than 80%of FDI located in eastern coastal areas.Because of the extremely uneven geographical distribution of FDI,the economic growth rate of the eastern part is higher than that of the western region,which makes China's regional economic structure become more dualistic.So to discuss FDI's influence on economic growth and find out the factors which made FDI distribute unevenly in different areas is of great practical significance to narrowing the economic gap between eastern,central and western and encouraging FDI to choose the central and western regions.This thesis will draw a conclusion about the relationship between FDI and regional economic growth through empirical analysis of some typical provinces in correlative areas.In this paper,the basis of previous studies on the theory,combined with qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,absorbing and drawing on effective methods of empirical research,the focus of study from a single country or region towards the east of the study of the comparative study of the central and western regions,mainly combinated the theory and practice of foreign direct investment,the Western economic theory in the theory of international direct investment to China must have the guidance,but for China's national conditions,especially for regional differences and varying levels of economic development of eastern,central and western region,in the use of foreign direct investment in these theories can not be completely copied.In this paper,FDI and the relationship between China's economic growth as well as China's internal environment in different regions of the impact of foreign direct investment to do a great deal of research,from foreign direct investment and local economic growth,exports,employment and other aspects of China's eastern,central and western foreign direct investment in the status quo,and there is representation for all regions of the provinces (Shandong,Hubei,Sichuan) FDI and the province carried out the empirical analysis of economic growth can be analyzed simultaneously to see the impact of FDI on the GDP and the lag types of hysteresis at the difference between eastern,central and western regions,from the regression equation to see the impact of FDI on the role of GDP size,and draw relevant conclusions for how to achieve efficient use of FDI,to promote the purpose of China's economic growth,enrich and strengthen effective.At the end of article on how to make full use of FDI to accelerate economic development of China's three major policy recommendations in order to better attract foreign direct investment and foreign direct investment to maintain a balance development of the domestic.
