Research On Multi-Echelon Inventory Based On Multi-Target In Network Structure Of Supply Chain | | Posted on:2010-01-31 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y W Liu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2189360275453593 | Subject:Logistics Engineering and Management | | Abstract/Summary: | | | Any company cannot exist alone in the market in current economy,and it is bound to be linked with enterprises from upstream and downstream in supply chain.While in terms of company's operation,inventory management is one of its most important links,inventories of upstream and downstream enterprises are also closely related.As the theories of supply chain management ideology are growing mature,multi-echelon inventory control has become one of tools that enable enterprises to acquire competitive edge owing to the facts that not only does multi-echelon inventory management affect enterprises' composite cost but also the common interests in the whole supply chain.Effective multi-echelon inventory management plays a quite crucial role in improving cooperative relationship among different node enterprises and the integration of supply chain.Therefore,in order to enhance competitiveness of the whole supply chain,it is of great theoretical value and practical significance to study optimization methods of multi-echelon inventory in the context of supply chain.The thesis focuses on the multi-echelon inventory system comprised of one core manufacturer and many distributors' inventories for certain product's supply chain,studies multi-echelon inventory control method in the context of centralized decision and supply chain of network.Firstly,the thesis introduces the theory of supply chain inventory management and brings forward three theories namely VMI,JMI and optimization & control modes of multi-echelon inventory as to solve the problems of supply chain inventory management.With reference to theories of multi-echelon inventory control,the thesis studies respectively multi-echelon inventories with single target and multiple targets.Multi-echelon inventory basing itself on single-target,which contains multi-echelon models with identified demand of non-allowed out of stock and allowed out of stock,is a simple serial system targeted on cost;and supply chain with network structure based on multi-target is the key studying object in this thesis.In the context of multi-echelon inventory based on multi-target, the thesis firstly brings forward optimization models employing hybrid order policy,and then establishes models of cost and turnaround time of inventory for core manufacturer and distributors according to control strategy of multi-echelon and characteristics of inventory models under randomized demands.Then a control model for multi-echelon inventory with multi-target and constraints based on optimizations of cost and time is constructed according to the actual restrictive conditions.In order to obtain the ordering quantity and ordering cycle time which will minimize both the inventory cost and turnaround time,the thesis optimizes the function of multi-target with genetic algorithm.At the end of the thesis,the author makes a thorough summary and points out the inadequacy and further research directions. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Multi-echelon, network structure, Multi-target, inventory cost, inventory turnaround time | | Related items |
