Research On Hubei's Automobile Industry Cluster Effect

Industrial cluster is a good way to improve competitiveness and speed up the pace of economic development,and auto industry has the strong driving effect for related industries as well as employment.,so that an increasing number of countries and regions take auto industry cluster as an important strategic approach to develop industries,stimulate economic growth and promote the industrialization.Also,our province focuses on the automobile industry cluster and plan to develop it as the most important cluster.As the site of Dongfeng Automobile Corporation which is one of three major automotive groups in our country,Hubei's output of automobile occupy greater market share,and its industrial foundation is good,so we can regard Hubei as an important cluster ground of the automobile industry in our country,which will make it completely exert its cluster effect..Firstly,this paper summarizes the classical and effect theories in industry cluster theory and the current research situation on automobile industry cluster both at home and abroad.Secondly,Based on the development of industrial cluster effect from the theories of the western economies such as External Economy of Scale,Agglomeration Economy,Transaction Cost,Innovation Economy,Competitive Economy,New Economic Geography Theory etc.this thesis makes analysis with new perspective on the effect of industrial cluster from micro-level,network-level,macro-level,and go a step,the paper illustrates the cluster effect in the auto field combining its industry characteristics.Thirdly,from its general develop situation,regional scale,industry scale,the developing environment it faced,as well as the existing problems,the paper analyzes its present situation.Consequently,the quality and scale of Hubei's auto industry cluster has been displayed throughout the analyzed results.Further,based on the current situation and development trend of the industrial cluster in Hubei's automobile sector,it calculates the agglomerating degree of autocar cluster in our province,and analyzes the cluster effect within enterprises growing up,industry competitiveness as well as regional economy growth,using mathematical quantitative and qualitative analysis method.As for the choices on the quantitative analysis, according to the research results on auto-industry cluster both inside and outside our country combining the auto estate characteristic,it sets up the automotive industry estate competitiveness evaluation index system and the relevance indicators with the whole industrial growth.At the same time,drawing on the successful experience of well-developed automotive industry both at home and abroad in order to address the problems arising from Hubei's auto industry's development,it proposes options for establishing strategic advantage in Hubei's auto industry,that is,to extend the internal scale and win external economy to obtain the economic effect.It also makes suggestions to achieve these goals from the views of government policy,enterprise and market.Ultimately,it's aimed at inspiring the development of industrial cluster of Hubei's auto industry.
