| Organizational culture and organizational identity are both hotspots in management psychology research area in last thirty years.Our scholars already have a lot of works about their conception and theory,and some of their respective empirical research.But there is little study about the relationship between Organizational culture and organizational identity,and the conclusion is not mature enough.The development of retail enterprises has related to the people's livelihood.In the global economic integration situation,lots of the world's retail giants have rushed into China,such a large retail market.It seems unable for domestic retail enterprises to compete with foreign retail enterprise for their outstanding organize cultural.Therefore,this research aims to know the current situation of the relation between organizational culture and employee's organizational identity and a comparative analysis of the organizational culture and employee's organizational identity status quo between foreign-funded retail enterprises and domestic-funded retail enterprises.It is good to enhance the employee's organizational identity of domestic-funded retail enterprises by improve their organizational culture.This can not only improve the competitiveness of domestic-funded retail enterprises but also alleviate the economic crisis.The research adopts survey measures as questionnaire investigation and case discussion.The questionnaires we used to measure organizational culture are authoritative,while the organizational identity questionnaires are the latest domestic scale.We give off 450 questionnaires using convenience sample research method,and callback 405 which are available,and the rate is 90%.To understand the current situation of retail employee's organizational identity,their evaluation on organizational culture and the relationship between them,we analyzed the data on SPSS13.0,using one-way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation. Conclusions of this study are as follows:First of all,through the Pearson Correlation analysis, we found the correlation between organizational culture and organizational identity is very remarkable except for adaptability and mission aspects of organizational culture with flectional ascription of organizational identity,which showed no significant negative correlation.Retail enterprises organizational culture influents employee's organizational identity.Well organizational culture can boost the employee's organizational identity and furthermore increase the job performance.On the other hand,ill organizational culture will depress employee's organizational identity and reduce their job performance.Second,the result reveals that employee's organizational identity have high correlation with sex, age,educational background,working hours and job position,except marriage.The employee's organizational identity of domestic-funded retail enterprises are lower than foreign ones in organize perceive,positive evaluation and independent action dimensions,especial the latter two aspects are significant.Third,the organizational culture of domestic-funded retail enterprises is lower than foreign ones in all 12 dimensions,especial in core values,authorization,cooperation and perspective target dimensions.While the differences in capacity development,organization study,strategic-orientated and specific goal dimensions are much significant.According to the survey,we advise the leaders of domestic-funded retail enterprises should advance and perfect their organizational culture forwardly to improve employee's organizational identity and furthermore enhance their competitiveness. |
