Traditional network planning techniques such as CPM/PERT have been not satisfied with the demands of increasingly complex construction projects in project planning and control,especially for the uncertainty project under multi-resource constraints and concurrent construction.Considering the different characteristics of the above two construction projects,this paper proposes two project planning and management models based on fuzzy critical chain method and system dynamics respectively.To the construction project under multi-resource constraints and uncertainty,critical chain concept is introduced,and then baseline schedule can be established with the combination of improved genetic algorithm and fuzzy techniques,buffer management is adopted in control phase;and to concurrent construction projects,a model based on system dynamics is introduced,different schedule plans are obtained through simulating the different policy in the model,and policy guideline will be recommended from the result of simulations.The developed model will support a new tool for the project managers in project planning and control for the above construction projects.
