WTG Pawnshop, with 10 years experience accumulation, has grasped some basic rules in the pawn management and made sound progress in its service type and service quality. However,there are still many problems remained, namely, poor management, lack of innovation and talent, low-level marketing. Key competitiveness is the most essential capability and the key point for modern enterprises, and plays a decisive role in the market competition. Since the reform and opening-up, China Finance industry has been expanding larger and larger, and has framed a all-dimensional, all-functional, multitiered, complementary pattern. This pattern provides a strong support for the stable growth of China economy, and also the development of financial service industry. This pattern provides a strong support for the stable growth of China economy, and also the development of financialservice industry.This paper, on the basis of key competitiveness theory, implements the theory of banking, advantage competition and value chain. Firstly, this paper analyses the attributes of pawnshop and its SWOT; meanwhile, from the angle of Michael Porter's five strengths model, it studies how the five strengths help WTG pawnshop enhance its key competitiveness. From the angle of value chain, this paper defines the connotation and attributes of WTG pawnshop and also discusses the theory of its key competitiveness. Secondly, on the basis of Micheal Porter's theory of value chain, this paper studies the characteristics of WTG's value chain: in terms of business procedure and operational management, WTG should set up the inner and outer value chain; in terms of value chain ideology, WTG should establish a module to analyze the main factors of key competitiveness, from resource elements, ability elements and environment elements; with the focus on this module, this paper conducts a qualitative analysis on how the three elements contribute to the key competitiveness, also, it discusses the relative relations between the three elements and WTG key competitiveness. Thirdly, from the angle of perfecting WTG value chain, this paper researches the methods to improve the key competitiveness of China commercial banks. Through the perfection of WTG value chain and fully digging out the useful information from value chain, WTG should create its unique value chain so as to improve its key competitiveness radically.
