The Analysis For Development And Influence Factors In The Agricultural Products IIT In Our Country

After World WarⅡ,intra-industry trade has developed very fast and it has been the important factor that influences the international division and promotes the new and leading industry to form. With entry to the WTO, the trade contact and economic cooperation between China and others has become closer. But because of limited resources and so on, Chinese foreign trade advantages of agricultural products has declined. Therefore, the development of agricultural products intra-industry trade is of important significance.This thesis, according to available statistics, calculates Chinese agricultural products'GL index, Brülhart marginal intra-industry trade index, Thom&McDowell marginal vertical and horizontal intra-industry trade index from 1992 to 2007, as well as the Greenaway index in 2007. Then, on the basis of these, it analysises the overall level, real structure and development of Chinese agricultural products intra-industry trade. The first conclusion is: the overall level is low relatively, showing in the international trade, Chinese agricultural products trade is still in terms of the traditional comparative advantage theory. In the future, we should richen the variety of agricultural products and develop scale economy to expand the intra-industry propotion; the second conclusion is: with the vertical intra-industry trade which occupies the low-quality product market as the main manner, the growth of agricultural products intra-industry trade mainly depends on the vertical growth ,and the horizontal intra-industry trade is account for the small propotion. This indicates that Chinese agricultural competitiveness needs to be improved.Secondly, this thesis makes an empirical study to the impact factors to Chinese agricultural products intra-industry trade, and comes to the conclusion: consumer demands have a greater effect to the intra-industry trade; scale economy is vice-related to the intra-industry trade; the technological progress and foreign direct investment can't infulence the intra-industry trade obviously. These are all due to the Chinese economy development, the mode of Chinese agricultural production and operation, the scale of foreign direct investment, technolgy situation and so on.
