A Study On Reflections And Countermeasures About Development Of China Financial Leasing Industry

Leasing is a common economic activity that stems from a contradiction on distributing of resources. Financial leasing is a very important form of leasing, known as capital leasing, also belonged to one of modern leases. The first appearance of financial leasing industry ( FLI) has been fifty years from 1950s in the United States. This new form of fund-raising, gaining capital leasing by object leasing, was favored quickly in the business community and then adopted by many countries worldwide. Now financial leasing has become the second-largest fund-raising methods only to loan credit in the international investment of equipment.China financial leasing industry started in the reform and opening up, and developed with the construction of socialist market economy. Although China FLI has had an unusual development, there have been a lot of obstacles. The current situation of China FLI is still inconsistent with the economic globalization and the rapid development of domestic economy. Studying the position and function of FLI in domestic economy, analyzing the problems of China FLI and making feasible suggestion will be beneficial of development of China FLI.In this article there are four parts. Chapter One introduces the background and significance of research, methods and structure of research, and reviews the opinions in domestic and abroad. Chapter Tow gives a brief account of basic theories and external development of FLI, summarizes practice and experience in the world. Chapter Three reflects rationally problems during the development of China FLI, specially the construction of law system, enterprise system and market system. Chapter Four puts forward a proposal about the sustainable development of China FLI, including grasping the development trend of FLI, Launching the Organizational Creation of FLI and providing a favorable environment of development of FLI.
