Study On Effective Communication Mechanism Of IT Project

With the severity of the global service and severe international competition ,more and more Chinese enterprises shift their old business mode to transnational business mode. The extending of business demand,along with the expend of the department,makes the integration and control of the business resources,business progress and information system required increasingly. Under the circumstances of rapid spread of the building of information system , IT project and IT system come in an endless stream.However,most of the projects are unsecessful,or out of expectation.If come to the reasons ,besides the gap of management ability, ill management in the process is another assignable cause,moreover,the failuer of project communications can be the crucial factor in ill management.Compared with other project,which based on the physical structure for the project objectives,IT project based on intangible intellectual products.Meanwhile IT projects is the essence of "knowledge transfer" and other is the essence of "resource consumption". Therefore IT project management is more flexible.We find that a lot of classic project management methods work well in other project,but little in IT project.This,in the course of project communications, brings many problems,such as: allocation of the role of the project team, the awareness or lack of sense of communication, unclear communicate purpose, inappropriate communications way or the lack of communication skills.Standing on the foundation of comprehensive analysis of the characteristics of IT projects, the current situation and existing problems, this paper researches from the process of communication and influence factors, and then comes to a further discussions on the main problems,gives suggestion correspondingly,on which basis,it also gives a summary for IT projects (mainly covers a wide range of the need to coordinate communication between the volume of work, communication problems prominent IT projects) communication management system, to ensure an effective process of communication projects.Based on the communications management of the whole project life cycle, this paper discussed the ubiquitous project management in IT project implementation of China enterprises,especially with communicate management as a point of departure and destination. through the theoretical analysis and practical experience,the paper interposed the communication mode in process and the influence factors,selected the typical communication projects(team-building, communications plan, oral communication, project management meeting, on stage, communication networks, channels of communication security, communication and project management software, project management and project documents conflict management) as the core of the IT project communication. On this basis we try to establish an effective communication mechanism and verify it in practice in project management. From the result of practical application , the mechanism is highly specific, practical and feasible. It does provide useful reference for enterprises, service providers, third- party facilitator and IT project participants and managers.
