Accompany with the evolutionof CFO's function, the requirement of CFO's capacity and diathesis varies as well. Indomestic, with the intensified economic globalization, the mature of socialist marketeconomy and the development of modern corporation mechanism, the financialfunction has permeated through the entire enterprise. Chinese CFO is confronted withunprecedented challenge. By comparing the current status between CFO in China andthat in developed countries, I get the conclusion that Chinese CFO System has faultsand defects. To perfect the corporation governance, it is necessary to speed up thedevelopment of CFO System in China. I begin this paper with origin and conceptionabout CFO. Then I dissect the profession orientation while take comparison survey.Finally, I put forward suggestion and design proposal about how to improve CFO'sability.By means of gathering and analyzing the statistic and overt information of listedcorporations, I am dedicated to provide recommendations for present situation andfuture development of CFO in China. I manage with statistical analysis study method,comparison study method and deductive method in this article.The main point and production of this paper as follows:1 The chapter one has set forth CFO's meanings, made out how CFO come intobeing, compared CFO system with other system, analyzed duties and core functionsof CFO in enterprise, given an introduction about CFO's historical evolution andpresent situation abroad.2 In chapter two, the internal evolution and current status has been brieflyintroduced. As the research indicate that in China CFO is subordinate to CEO, hisfunction still emphasize particularly on finance.3 Chapter three has proposed CFO to reinforce his ability so that they can deal withthe challenges in new economic situation. The proposal is presented in three aspects:occupation knowledge, professional skill and occupation morality. Masteringaccounting knowledge is the basic desirable ability for CFO's work as this sectionindicates. Economic administration and vocation professional knowledge is also absolutely necessarily. It is of great importance for a CFO to possess goodcommunication skill, leadership professional judgment and excellent professionalmorality if want to competent in his work.4 In chapter four, the prospect of CFO's future development in our country has beenproposed.There are several innovations in this paper. It has labored CFO's status; function;responsibility; and duty in enterprise. By combining Chinese current economicsituation with financial policy, it has made clear what kind of capacity and quality aCFO should possess. At last, Chinese CFO's future evolution direction has beendiscussed.Based on above analysis, the paper shows beneficial investigation and personalcomments on the CFO system constitution.
