| Clothing industry is the key to develop economy in Zhejiang Province, but also enhance its competitiveness in the region. And Clothing industry is the leading force in economic development in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou and other places. As a unique form of industrial organization, industrial clusters obtain a competitive advantage over major carriers, have had a better foundation for development, and create a unique system and culture. In this paper, we exert the theoretical study of industrial cluster to research the development of the Zhejiang Clothing industry, with a view to obtain useful research for cluster competitiveness, providing a theoretical basis for policy.In this paper, first of all, we introduce Zhejiang apparel industry status quo, respectively describing the overall development of Zhejiang garment industry, the formation of garment industry cluster, the geographical distribution of clothing clusters as well as the status quo of key areas, and the region features of the Zhejiang garment industry cluster. Then, on the basis of the analysis of the effect of Zhejiang apparel industry, we quantitatively assess the competitiveness of Zhejiang apparel industry with GEM model. The result shows that the competitiveness of apparel industry in Zhejiang Province close to the highest level of the domestic apparel industry, but from the world-class garment industry there is a greater gap. Subsequently, in this paper we attempt to explore the cluster governance and its impact on the competitiveness of industrial clusters. In interviews with 8 experts and 34 garment enterprises, we carry through the relation and regression analysis on the basis of the survey questionnaires. Empirical analysis shows that the paths of cluster governance play important influence on the competitive advantage. Finally, we summarize the main thesis of the research results and give corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to the government and enterprises and other units. |
