The culture is affecting people's fashion consumption to a certain extent, but the fashion consumption also react on the cultural development. Since long ago people's fashion consumption and the aesthetic activity have promoted the cultural transmission, transformation and progress together. Simultaneously they also have urged the formation and development of consumption culture. Combining fashion culture with consumption culture, the author chooses the huge consuming ability and potential middle class as the breakthrough point. The article opens up the domain in fashion consumption culture.First the article elaborates correlated theories of fashion consumption culture, discusses the reciprocity between them and progresses the frame. Then the author defines the Beijing middle class and analyses empirically them. Finally through comparing the Beijing middle class and the Shanghai ones, the author summarizes the characteristics of the Beijing middle class in fashion consumption culture.
