As a special military industry, Aerospace industry could be viewed as an autonomous, self-financing, self-development, self-restraint, corporate entities and market competition entities unless it is considered in the perspective of micro-economics'promoting the effect of the production purpose. At present the study on the aerospace industry is still confined to the qualitative analysis, and the quantify method has not been used to analyze the industrial structure and benefit. This paper, using the input-output theory, making exploratory research on the input-output relationship between various departments of aerospace industry, hopes to provide a theoretical reference to the government on the development of China's aerospace industry planning. In this paper, Firstly it coordinates and evaluates the basis principles and progresses of the input-output theory; Secondly, it Sums up the peculiarities of the aerospace industry's products, effectiveness and technical , furthermore it also describes the social benefits, economic benefits, long-term opportunities efficiency and efficiency formation mechanism; Then it explores the applications of input-output analysis method , and focus on how to use it to calculate the contribution rate of science and technology. Finally, after calculating boosting efficiency, security efficiency, technology spillover benefits and opportunity costs of the defense expenditure, this paper establishes a national defense expenditure scale optimization model, and then it proposes a static and dynamic analysis on the government optimal defense expenditure size in the space industry.
