But the problem of unbalance development between urban and rural areas has caused by this urban biased policies, and has formed the developed of urban industry with backward of largeness rural. Chongqing and Chengdu are named"The Reform of a Unified Rural-Urban Plan in Chongqing and Chengdu"with the approval by State Development and Reform Commission in 2007.6, Chongqing , especially the current rural economy has a new development opportunity.The Urban and Rural Harmonious is in progress in many areas of Chongqing form the recent two years. So the purpose of this thesis is to solve the Problem of urban and rural harmonious development project of Chongqing,.Firstly, base of plenty of foreign or domestic literatures and the reality of our country, the development of rural economy of Chongqing, this thesis defines the definition, contents and characteristics of urban and rural harmonious development project, analysis the values of urban and rural harmonious development project, that is it can be of benefit to developing rural economy, construct harmonious society and protect ecological environment.Secondly, research on the current situation and problems about urban and rural harmonious development of Chongqing by the methods of the statistics. come to the conclusion that the increasingly enlarged income gaps within urban-rural, unbalanced regional development, reduction of arable lands, diversification in land circulation and the urgent to develop urban and rural harmonious.Finally, analysis on author's participation in Yongchuan area Huangguashan project and Jiangjin areas Linfengshan project, come to conclusion that the problems of the urban and rural harmonious development project.
