The Guard And Control Of Commercial Bank's Operation Risk Based On Bank Of Communications Luoyang Branch

Along with the globalization of economy and the unceasingly development of financial tools, the operation risk which the commercial bank faces unceasingly in relief, operation risk has become the most significant risk that the commercial bank faces after credit risk and market risk, therefore how to avoid and control operation risk has become a big topic which the commercial bank needs to solve urgently.This article has outlined the operation risk definition, the content and the characteristic, analyzed the present situation of operation risk of Chinese Commercial banks, pointed out the reasons for the operation risk are: the flaw of property right system, the malpractice of management and operation system, the insufficient understanding and attention on operation risk as well as the leak of the internal control mechanism, the weak investigation system and the bad profession behavior, finally through the analysis of present situation of operation risk management of Bank of communications Luoyang Branch, the author proposes the suggestion for the operation risk control of commercial banks. The article believes, if the commercial banks want to develop the risk control ability, they must pay attention to the establishment of scientifical encouragement and inspection mechanism, the enhancement of system construction, the development of system carrying out, the cultivation of risk culture, the strengthening of procedure control, the enlargement of inspection dynamics, the enhancement of team construction and the risk control ability.The article uses the writing method which the theory and the practice unifies, namely through the analysis of basic principle of operation risks control, unifies the risk management practice of Bank of communications Luoyang Branch, proposes the risk guard and the control suggestion for the operation risk control of the commercial banks, hopes the article can play certain model role to the operation risk management of Bank of communications Luoyang branch and other Chinese Commercial banks.
