Suzhou Coastal Cogeneration Power Ltd. specializes in power supply. There are two series gas-stream turbine generator unit in the company. Built in 1996, Suzhou Coastal Cogeneration Power Ltd. is the earliest gas-stream turbine power station in Suzhou.With the reform of electric power market and supply electric power with competitive price, the company have met more intensive market competition. How to select a correct competitive strategy will determine the future of the company.This article introduced the existing situation of Suzhou Coastal Cogeneration Power Ltd. and provided an overall analysis on the outer environment which the company would face. The article also described the company's advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and threatens. Then the article further explained that how to set up Its corporation vision , strategy mission ,so as to shape its company competitive strategy overall cost leadership.Explicated the company's present competitive position was to pursue the market leader. The development strategy was to enter heat-electricity-cold supply market.It is beneficial a lot by nearly three years study of the MBA course and its practice. Integrated the theory of marketing strategy with practices in Suzhou Coastal Cogeneration Power Ltd. I completed this case through a long period thinking and analysis, Hope this article can not only provide some solution to Suzhou Coastal Cogeneration Power Ltd., but also being worthy to those companies and enterprises in power supply who try to gain achievement in economical purpose.
