The establishment of an international financial center has now become an important national strategy in many cities. Three cities have been compared and we have found that Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen in building a financial center, they have their respective advantages and disadvantages. According to the thesis, Shanghai has the most advantage, which is followed by Beijing. By comparison the author has found some problems. Aiming at the problems, some suggestions are given. Corresponding measures should be taken to achieve the goal of constructing the Chinese international financial center.The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which includes the writing background, the purpose and significance of the topic. The second chapter focuses on how the international financial center has been changed. The author tires to reveal the fundamental reason for the rise of the international financial center and some experience is provided in order to establish a financial center in China. In the third chapter the author introduces the Chinese natural conditions and analyzes the economic, financial region pattern. Then the author comes to a conclusion that an international financial center can be established in Shanghai. The fourth chapter is based on the international perspective and standards. The author gives a scientific and comprehensive evaluation of these three major cites: Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen.At present, China's financial capital market is at a very fast stage of development. China has become the world's largest emerging market. While, the new issue is that the rapid development of the market and the financial environment now are not matching. There is need for financial innovation and sound market laws and regulations.According to the requirements of the international financial center, the author introduces the international financial standards operating mechanism in order that an international financial center can be established in China.
