With the rapid development of economy, tourism industry has entered an unprecedented period of development. But a sudden financial crisis has seriously affected the survival and development of the tourism industry of our country. It's difficult to estimate direct economic losses, and so does indirect loss in some specific circumstances.The paper takes TMBT, which is a typical representative of travel agencies in the area, as a case to analyze and research administrative development problem of travel agency in financial crisis. Based on strategy management theory, the paper mainly applies method of SWOT analysis to research TMBT case in details, to make development suggestions to deal with financial crisis, so that draw a conclusion for TMBT, and theoretically prepare for sustainable development when crisis.This article is divided into four parts to analyze and address the problem as follows:Firstly, the paper addresses mainly administration problems of TMBT. The paper introduces briefly development of business processes and enterprise status, and administration strategy before crisis, and then goes deep into influence and duration by the crisis, so puts forward appropriate expectation and judgment.Secondly, by the SWOT analysis, the paper lists strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of TMBT business, find main issues during development, such as staff redundancy, high cost products, similar and aging products, low rate of resource allocation, management lag, and so forth. After this, this paper put forth some strategy suggestion aiming at the issues listed above, to deal with great impact imposed on tourism industry by financial crisis.Thirdly, after sum up and analysis of TMBT strategy problem, the author put forward suggestions to deal with crisis as follows,To adjust organization structure to suit for market changes,To take cost leading strategy by raise income and cut cost,To select differentiation strategy by products transition,To choose focus strategy by tailored business,To use brand development strategy by integrated marketing communication, taking network operation strategy to suit for requirements of international development,To focus on talent development strategy by accumulating deeply and using less.Finally, the text concluded that TMBT should implement following ways as soon as possible, such as "restructuring strategy", "cost leading strategy", " product --differentiation strategy," "focus business strategy," "network operation strategy", "brand development strategy "and" talent development strategy ". It is of great importance and guidance meaning for TMBT to implement these strategies above to respond to crisis and accelerate development in future.In addition, the complexity of the financial crisis as well as effectiveness time-bounding of strategic business study on TMBT issues, make this article a lot of limitations, which also left some opportunities for continuous research and future study. With the further spread of financial crisis, there may be some strategy needs to be re-adjusted, so I will do further research and study.
