Study On The Relationship Between Economic Growth And Environmental Pollution Of China

Economic growth and environmental pollution from industrial civilization is a contradiction. Economic growth is bound to sacrifice environmental quality for a certain price, and the deterioration of environmental quality through various channels will also offset the fruits of economic growth. Therefore, the study of the relationship between economic growth and environmental quality will contribute to macroeconomic policy-making authorities to choose between the two, and make scientific and rational environmental policy portfolio at different stages of economic development. This paper on China's economic growth and environmental pollution empirical study, explore China's economic growth impact on the environment and the quality of economic growth path of environmental quality change.This paper, based on our existing environmental pollution data, in light of China's environmental policies, use of regression analysis, Granger test and VAR portraying EKC which is not only different from their predecessors, but also contrary to traditional theory. Study and explain that there is a clear impact on the mutual relations between China's economic growth and environmental pollution, and with the passage of time, this influence is increasing. This is the main feature of this paper and innovation.The content of the paper is structured as follows:The first chapter illuminate the basic concepts and the policy implications of the environmental Kuznets curve .and the studies of the relationship between economic growth and environmental pollution are reviewed. At last propose ideas and characteristics. Chapter II, first briefly explain the causes of EKC and its policy implications ,and then portray China's environmental Kuznets curve, find that China's environmental Kuznets curve is not only different from previous research results, but also with the traditional Theory contrary. Finally, in response to China's specific conditions, exploring the formation of the special reasons. Chapter III, use part of the conclusion of the study from Chapter II, Granger tested and the VAR model to substantiate that there is a mutual influence between economic growth and environmental pollution. There is a stability and long-term negative impact on economic growth from environmental pollution. Aimed that If we do not change China's economic growth in a timely manner, and actively carry out the scientific and effective environmental policy mix, the fruits of economic growth will be swallowed up. The strategy for sustainable development will be out of the question; Chapter IV makes use of the conclusions of the middle two chapters, evaluate the major environmental policies, cast about for the reasons of our environmental policy failure , and give the corresponding policy recommendations.
