A Study On Commercial Banks Of Efficiency And Its Effect Factors In Suzhou Based On DEA

Efficiency is the centralized reflection of the compitition ability of commercial banks, which is the key element to preclude financial risks and open up the banking industry.The research on banking ifficiency has been one of the main issues for the international financial sector and every supervisory authority over the last two decades.The efficiency of commercial banks aims at minimizing the input and maximizing the output.The paper takes the 11commercial banks in suzhou as the object of reaearch and studied their operational efficiency from the perspective of input and output,whicd based on the important method of linear programming -DEA method(Data Envelope Analysis).The article has surveyed the overall technical efficiency,scale ifficiency and pure technical efficiency through DEA method and carry on the place analysis to it,The result isrguangda bank and pufa bank are in the forefront and the agriculture bank is the last one in the industry.Then this artical focused on analyzing seven impacting factors of the efficiency of the suzhou commercial banks and examine the impacting degree of the size of asset,market shares of deposits,the rate of fee to asset,the rate of deposits to lending by building models,Finally the artical provide seven specificly suggestions including adusting the the guiding tactics focusing the size,begin high-end customers strategy,carry out flowing bank construction,strengthen managment of credit funds,reinforce the middle business,set up the excitation mechanism about the personal staff,increase the quality of human resouces and so on.
