The Study Of Safety Cost In Construction Project

Owing to the characteristics of the construction industry itself , The bad conditions of the safety and health of the construction industry become a serious problem, and have affected the development of the construction industry. With the less safety investment, Huge loss caused by safety accidents .To analyze the cost of construction safety has become a serious problem that need to be solved urgently .Aiming at China's grim current situation of production safety in construction, this paper firstly compared the safety situations and the research of with some developed countries. In comparison with the safety conditions and research in developed countries, the authors point out the main disadvantages and weak points of the safety conditions in construction industry of our country. After analyzing the research of the safety cost domestic and overseas, based on the specificity of the safety , this paper has classified and defined the cost of safety of a construction project. The safety cost was made up of the guarantee-purpose safety cost and the Loss of security costs. Then the author analyzed the specific Components of the guarantee-purpose safety cost and the loss of accidents concretely and the relationship between the two. After those , the method of estimating the safety level of the construction program was found under the reliability system theory. The total cost in safety as the change law of the safety level in the construction project. Based on those the author analyzed the relationship between the safety cost and the safety level , then developed a simulative function model to illustrate the relation between the safety cost and the safety level of the construction program quantitatively . After using the model, the author seek the optimum safety cost in certain safety level——The optimum reasonable cost of security. Through the evaluation indicators to reflect the reasonable security cost of construction projects., reduce the frequency of safety accident, quality of reducing casualties , improve the quantity of the building products . This method can be used for each participator of the construction projects , it can evaluate the optimum safety cost in a reasonable safety level , solve the safety problem actively , improve the construction safety performance ,avoid the loss of safety accidents, obtain much more benefit , and develop a safety ,healthy Civilized working environment of construction industry.
