Seven strategies for enhancing the international competitiveness of Chinese grape wine industry are proposed in this research, at the basis of the conclusions by Descriptive Analysis & Regression Analysis to Chinese grape wine industry's international competitiveness.In the part of descriptive analysis, this paper not only analyzes the environment for the development of Chinese grape wine industry with Porter-Dunning model, under the guidance of the industry's international competitiveness theory, but also evaluates the essence, performance and results of Chinese grape wine industry's international competitiveness using lots of indicators such as Labor Productivity, International Market Share, Revealed Comparative Advantage Index & The total industry profits. It is found out four conclusions which are show as following: 1. It's superior in the overall environment with adequate power source for the development of Chinese grape wine industry, though the condition of high production factors & the present situations of related and support industries are in an inferior position; 2. The productivity growth is fast; 3. Compared to the France, Australia, and other old and new world wine producing countries, on five indicators show results of the analysis point of view , there is a gap of the grape wine industry's international competitiveness between china and them in 2007, which is narrowing with a great step since 2005; 4. There is considerable return of the industry, which is increasing year by year.In another part of the paper. factors that affect Chinese grape wine industry's international competitiveness are studied, resulting as two regression equations from which directions of factors affecting Chinese grape wine industry's international competitiveness have been clearly seen. That are, labor productivity of Chinese grape wine industry is significant positive impacted by firm size and capital intensity. While Revealed Comparative Advantage Index (RCA) is significant positive correlated with firm size, capital intensity & marketing costs of inputs strength for the second or third behind periods, and is significant negative correlated with industrial concentration, per capita urban residents' income & RMB against the U.S. dollar exchange rate.
