Research On Suppliers Selection In The Uncertain Demand Environment

There are many uncertainties in the supply chain. These uncertainties make the supply chain management becoming more difficulties, particularly the uncertainty of the demand of customers. Enterprises, in order to achieve the timely response to uncertain demand, have to maintain higher inventory levels, resulting in high logistics costs. If the inventory volume remained at a low level, which maybe reduce the level of customer-service. Morover, the production systems will enterprises more risk. As the source of the supply chain, the suppliers play a vital role throughout the enterprise survival and development process. Their performance bacomes more and more important to the lower reaches of enterprises,such as product quality, lead time, inventory levels, product design and other aspects.Therefore, in-depth study customer demand uncertainty circumstances supplier selection problems not only of great the oretical value, but also has high practical significance.Basic theories about supply-chain and supply-chain.management were introduced at the beginning in this paper. Then, on the basis of analysis to domestic and international suppliers, supplier flexibility model and purchasing-cost model wre put forward so that we can make necessary analysis on the condition of uncertain market demand. Furthermore, entropy AHP method was used to set the evaluation of the weight.Then, TOPSIS (Technique for order Prefernce By Similarity to Ideal Solution) method was used to solve the problem of the calculation model in this paper. Finally, specific examples was used to clarify the supplier selection of specific steps and calculation methods, so that the overall construction of the enterprise vendor selection more comprehensive framework.On the basis of the past research results, the flexible model and the total cost of procurement model were submit in the environment of the uncertain demand in this paper, which have a certain significance to the the cooperation between enterprises negotiations in the supply chain.At the same time, the use of the entropy methods to adjust the weight was proposed in this paper which will overcome the subjective defects of the previous method. Finally, TOPSIS method was used to select vendors in this paper, which was easy to operate and have strong scientific and practical.what's more, it will have a certain value and reference to the choice and evaluation of suppliers for the China's enterprises.
