I had worked several years for supplier chain management in FAW-VW.I had some question about the supplier chain management during the work. For example ,how to design and how to manage the supplier chain management of FAW-VW ? I wrote this paper based on my work experience and three years MBA study, I try to find a way to supplier chain management of FAW-VW.First, this paper introduce the international"6+3"and domestic"3+9"auto industry situation, then submit the define and sort of supplier chain management.The supplier chain management has three phases of its evolvement.First;function department management,its characteristic is less standard of information. Second; change to integration management, the characteristic is use of ERP. Third;change to value chain, characteristic is pushed from by store to by requirement.FAW-VW founded in February,1991. After recently year development, the capacity is almost 600 thousand pieces,during this process we met some problems.For example, we have to stop produce because of the supplier capacity. It has harm to the sale because of the wrong information or sluggish feedback from the market. According to the above mentioned this paper forward opportunity,condition and some model of the supplier chain management. Then gave the model which suits for FAW-VW.The one million supplier chain management of FAW-VW is including some flow as follows.The customer management flow. FAW-VW should identify the customer according the capacity of benefit, technical ,management and so on FAW-VW should become a team which the leaguer comes from different department such as supply, production, quality, logistic, finance.The customer service management flow. This flow provides a uniquely customer information For example, the process of order FAW-VW should use the SAP system to identify the customers, in order to find the best supplier.The purchase flow. This flow is including requirement and order management. The right requirement forecast could help FAW-VW arrange the production and sale and reduce the store quantity, requirement management should control the variety of the requirement,but in any case FAW-VW should have a process for urgent case.The fabrication flow.It is very important for FAW-VW that the product should be accordant the the sale market demand.If a company optimize its fabrication flow,it will save 3%-7% on its gross earning.The store management flow.It is important that when is the best order time and how many are the parts and so on ? It is not so easy like you thought to parts forecast and parts complementarity.It should get the service and optimization of benefit.The customer relationship management flow. In general,the normal material cost is almost 45%-60% against the sale value. That means good supplier management net could bring more benefit.The product develop and commercial flow. If this flow be used through the total supplier chain management, it will bring the company continuous competition power. In a short time more good product to the market will take a great deal of benefit. With the product life cycle becomes more and more short, the company should have reaction to the market.FAW-VW should evaluate the achievement of supplier chain management. The team should pay their attention to not only internal but also outside.
