Informatization Of Manufactories

Many manufactories are facing growing competition pressure,how to prompt the core competition of manufactory rapidly,the most important point is progressing industrialization by enterprise informatization,accelerating informatization process,being in new industrialization mode.More and more enterprises implement ERP with major in financial and management,and PDM with major in management of production design or manufacture surveys system.These systems are active for enterprises to strengthen the partial management of financial,production or devices.But we still have problem is we can't combine business management with process control system(PCS) efficiently,leading to effect process of production and imformatization while ERP can't get accurate data from PCS and PCS always can't get instructions in time to adjust work status.At present enterprises recognize the importance of connection of ERP and PCS gradually and think MES is the key way to resolve the problem.We can realize enterprise integrated information system by MES which can build a living system of ERP-MES-PCS and make out a resolution of enterprise comprehensive automation to improve management of enterprise and to give enterprise a new life.Based on status of the enterprise informatization,this paper according to MES' major theory and model and software engineering method,researched thin plate electroplating production process,and production line.Analyzes and works out the process,structure and functions of MES for thin plate electroplating,developed a MES using Informix database and Informix-4GL/SQL.
